A Girl with a Monkey by Leonard Michaels is an adventurous book that keeps you wanting to know more. I would recommend this book for adults and teenagers only because in certain parts of the book the two main character’s, Inger and Beard, engage is sexual activities that younger kids shouldn’t know about.
The book A Girl with a Monkey relates to my life because in different situations we’ve all loved or cared for someone who hasn’t loved us back the way we have loved them. Sometimes we will try and do whatever we can to make them understand how we feel.
The point of the story A Girl with a Monkey is if something in your life isn’t going well; you shouldn’t give up, you should keep trying and in the end, something good is going to happen.
